How to Reset a cPanel Account Password

To reset your cPanel account password, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to the following location in your browser: http://yourdomainname.com/cpanel (Note: Change "yourdomainname.com" to your actual domain name)
  2. Click Reset Password.
  3. Enter your cPanel username* in the Username text box and click Reset Password.
  4. Enter your contact email address in the Contact Email Address text box and click Send Security Code.

    Notes:
    To resend the security code, click Send Security Code Again.
    You must use the same browser session in which you initiated the password reset request.
  5. In the Security Code text box, enter the security code you received and click Submit.
  6. Enter your password in the New Password text box, confirm your password, and click Set Password.
  7. To log in to your account, click Log In.

*If you have forgotten your cPanel username, you can always email [email protected]/whcms using the registered email account in our file.
